Books & reports
From the counter to a clearer picture.
With accounting enabled, the day’s activity becomes more than a sales total. Follow the records into journals, bills, expenses and reports.
Give the sale a place in the books
Configured accounting maps supported sales, payment and stock events into double-entry journals. Posting follows checkout, keeping the customer’s completed sale separate from any accounting issue that needs review.
The underlying record connects the transaction and its accounting event. Review posting issues and account mappings as part of the business’s bookkeeping routine.
Look beyond the till
Supplier bills, customer balances, expenses and bank reconciliation workflows bring other business activity into the same accounting foundation.
These records need accurate inputs and review. Automated posting supports bookkeeping; it does not make every transaction correct without the team’s oversight.

- Supplier bills, customer invoices and expenses
- Trial balance, profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow reports
Know what a report includes
Reports use the records available to the device and the applicable accounting period. New activity on another till needs to sync before it can appear.
Check configuration, unresolved postings and completeness of data before using reports for decisions or filings. Local filing formats and tax integrations vary by market.
Good to know.
Is accounting included in every configuration?
Accounting is an optional module. Review your plan and enable the appropriate features and account mappings during setup.
Does a posting issue undo a completed sale?
Accounting posting runs after the sale commits. An issue is left for review and retry without undoing the completed checkout.
Does Zanira file taxes everywhere?
No. Tax integrations are market-specific. The current KRA eTIMS integration relates to Kenya and requires business setup and activation; it is not worldwide tax filing.
